*Position Title: Application Architect Location: Orlando, Florida Duration : 6 Months * *Description:* Responsible for providing application architecture mentorship on WDP&R IT application support and maintenance initiatives. Work with projects to define appropriate options for application design and integration. Help drive best practices in the use of J2EE technologies. Ensure the leveragability of existing and new components and services. Provide mentorship and hands-on assistance to project teams on the appropriate use of UML and model driven development approaches to facilitate application delivery/sustainment efforts. *Qualifications:* * *· 7+ year’s overall hands-on IT experience, including 5 years object-oriented analysis, design and development experience · 5 years hands-on design and development experience with enterprise-scale distributed applications(J2EE) · 3 years hands-on experience with defining and consuming XML messages using industry standards for service and binding protocols.
