Requirement: E Commerce Application Support Technician Duration - 1 year Rate: $30/hr - $32/hr Location: Wethersfield CT Start Date: ASAP Requirement / Description: Responsibilities * Daily maintenance, monitoring, performance analysis, trouble shooting, problem resolution, user assistance, and upgrade management supporting the operations web-site and reporting database. * Produce reports needed to support the One-Stop operators, including ad hoc reporting and management reports. * Participate in and carry out data analysis and application management activities. * Participate in Information Technology projects from inception of the project up and through the daily maintenance phase of the project. * Develop, implement, and maintain SQL Stored Procedures, Views, SQL scripts, JavaScripts, VBScripts, HTML, CSS, DHTML, IBM MQ, batch schedules, import/export file processing, and application interfaces. * Maintain and update application transactional and reporting database. * Maintain and update application server configurations such as windows registry, configure, and ini files. * Maintain interfaces to external and internal systems providing real-time information Essential Skills and Experience * Expert working knowledge with HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, IBM MQ, CSS, and ODBC, SQL environments (T-SQL, DDL and DML) on SQL Server 2000 and above. * Experience with all phases of software development lifecycle. * Ability to transition/transfer knowledge and train individuals on processes and technology related to supporting these applications. * Strong expert Experience in analyzing, developing and problem solving, and applying interface design principles into comprehensive solutions. * Excellent oral, business and technical communication skills. * Experience handling all aspects of application development. * Expert knowledge and experience with SQL upgrades. * Working knowledge of Windows 2003 Operating Systems and clustering environments.
