Position : System Architect (Middleware / SOA) Location : Pleasanton, CA, Location : 6+ months, Rate : $47 C2C System Architect (Middleware / SOA) SKILL KEYS X12 / EDI Message, NCPDP, Websphere, SOA, Healthcare, Claims, middleware, BI, SOAP, information interchange, SUMMARY This position is responsible for the architecture and design of enterprise integration projects involving production IT systems. Perform analysis of integration requirements, message structures and data processing needs in order to develop solutions. Act as the liaison between other IT constituents for development of integration requirements (enhancing of existing middleware technologies). Work with clients to review and validate integration requirements and provide subject matter expertise on middleware. Apply best practices regarding Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and system modeling. Provide strategic and operational related advise to clients to improve and optimize BI performance. TASKS - Document, review and validate integration and information interchange specifications. - Lead, plan, facilitate gap analysis on integration functional and non-functional requirements. - Collaborate with information trading partners and team members to document detailed information interchange flows. - Provide functional assistance to testers and production support. - Identify / analyze root cause problems and recommend solutions. - Resolve data quality issues, prepare presentations and/or training materials, provide timely escalation. - Act as lead for defect/issue management. - Communicate status and risks related to scope, timeline and quality. REQUIREMENTS - X12 / EDI Message experience, specifically 834, 835, 837, and 277/278 messages. - NCPDP Standard Message format. - Websphere Message Broker, Websphere Application Server, SOAP Web Services architecture/design experience. - 6+ years of experience in business analysis, and gathering and documentation of integration requirements from business and technical users. - Healthcare and Claims experience. - Business Systems Analysis skills appropriate to Regulatory Clinical information, pharmaceutical and supply-chain management (desirable). - Recent experience in business process and information systems analysis. - Proven ability facilitating negotiation among stakeholders. - Demonstrated knowledge of various requirements gathering and documenting techniques including use cases, conceptual and logical data modeling and flow diagramming. - Outstanding communication, organization, time management and interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle multiple tasks with strict deadlines. - High Level problem identification and resolution skills.
