Job Title:J2EE Senior Developer/Architect (FrontPlane/ presentation layer) Duration:6months+ Location: San Francisco Must haves: Senior J2EE Dev. (subject matter expert on J2EE presentation tier development), UseCase presentation, Heavy JavaScript and UML. develop complete web page flows and GUI components. Document presentation tier (GUI) patterns, best practices, and coding standards. We need heavy front-end/presentation layer development in J2EE (JavaScript, GUI, etc.) Requirements Applicant must have at least 8 years experience developing for the J2EE platform, candidates with 10+ years of experience are preferred. Should be a results-driven professional with more than 10 years of progressively responsible IT Experience in Object-Oriented System Development with a minimum of 5-6 years of emphasis on the development of presentation layer for J2EE web applications. Must have 6-8 years hands-on experience developing using the following J2EE technologies: HTML, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript, CSS, XSL, JDBC, JMS, Struts, JSF, Portals and Portlets development (JSR 168 preferred), XML/XSD, and SOAP Web Services. This is a very senior development contract position. There is no ramp-up or training time, applicant is expected to be able to a participating team member from day one. Candidates must have a minimum or 4 year BSC Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering degree. Additional Roles and Responsibilities Agile Development Knowledge of use-case driven, test-driven, and iterative (small-increments) development process is highly desired. Candidate will attend daily development meetings and be prepared to provide status updates to project architect and manager.
