Also, as much Solaris 10 experience as possible please, and this could possible go phone screen to hire!*** Job Description: Solaris Architect/Admin for a 2 month contract. Must have the following Technical Experience: At least 7+ Years of hands on experience with Solaris Administration Must have in depth working knowledge of Solaris version 10. The target servers are M5000s, same or like platform experience very desirable. Experience with Solaris domains, containers and zones is required. Understanding of networking is required Need to have knowledge of installing, configuring and maintaining of Sun/Solaris OS and HW. Knowledge of Jump/Kick start server along with network installation a must. Shell scripting knowledge as a Solaris administrator is required. Solaris Packages and RPM maintenance and patch management required. Responsible for troubleshooting server and OS problems. Knowledge and use of DTrace is required.
