Description of Work or Project:
Network Security Architect
Seeking temporary Network Security Architect who will augment Client's
IT Security and Risk Management Architecture team in mid-2009.
- Define a rolling 3 year technical strategy for information security
and maintains corresponding information security roadmaps.
- Leads in data gathering, analysis of business models and maps,
integrating security components into a unified infrastructure construct
using risk management approach.
- Makes independent, creative, technical contributions to define user
business and functional requirements for enhancements and projects,
production support, related to implementing interface and infrastructure
designs from security perspective, ensring coherence across applications
and services.
- Ensures that Solution Architecture Infrastructure designs are sound
and aligned with security and risk management strategy. Creates reusable
patterns that mitigate gaps or risks, and increase the security and
control on the organization.
- Develop and prioritize security strategies alligned with appropriate
regulatory requirements, business needs, and assigned key risk
indicators, and works closely with architecture teams and risk entities
across Client.
- Develops or promotes solutions aligned with Technical Strategy,
collaborating with all relevant team members ensuring technical
alignment.
- Provides technical and architectural guidance and communicates
architectural requirements across all platforms and infrastructures.
Promote new solutions with technical strategy and clear transition plans
into long-term strategy.
Partake in various technical and application reviews.
Keep up with state of the art information security practices and
solution frameworks in representing Client in various external boards,
expert groups, and conferences.
