In replying do not change the subject line. * *General Overview: *Conducts feasibility studies on strategic and tactical plans, design of digital/analog networks, and evaluation of network services/technology for current and future network development. Performs complex technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems, systems integration for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems. Plans, designs, and implements networked systems, including configurations, supporting/troubleshooting network problems and coordinating with vendors for installation of such items as routers, bridges, concentrators and switches. Conducts analysis, prepares reports, and works on project implementation. May serve as technical liaison with vendors. With minimal direction, applies principles, theories, and concepts, as well as knowledge of related discipline. Demonstrates advanced understanding of WAN/LAN internetworking design elements including cost versus performance tradeoffs, protocol interoperability, network architecture development, and requirements for testing/proof of concept. Has advanced knowledge of platform operation systems (router, platforms, LAN, WAN, and router protocols) and how they interact with the network. *Top 3 Areas of Responsibility: *1. network design 2. network support 3. collaborate and maintain standards *Required Skills:* • 8-10 years of experience in an enterprise networking environment • Ability to demonstrate fundamental technical understanding of communications networks, such as protocols, network components, design elements and architecture • Must demonstrate expert knowledge of platform operating systems (router platforms, LAN, WAN, and router protocols) and how they interact with the network • Must have skills in designing and implementation and managing MPLS / LAN based configuration of internal LAN based VRF and mapping them to the VLAN for tagging • Must have advanced skills in Layer 3 and 2 routing and switch and experience with Cisco 7600 and 6500 platforms • Must be able to troubleshoot technical LAN/WAN related problems in a critical high availability area • Must be familiar with enterprise support tools such as NetScout, CiscoWorks, Airwave Wireless Mgmt Systems, Cisco WLS, AirMagnet, NetScout Sniffer, Voyence, Entuity • Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to Incident, Change, Problem Management processes • Must enjoy working in a collaborative architectural team; sharing ideas, documentation, and responsibilities *Desired Skills:* • Designing and implementation and managing Cisco FWMS and ASA (Firewall) • Managing F5-Big IP Load Balancer that includes Software upgrades and Configuration according to web team’s request whether it is to install SSL Certificate or normal HTTP sites • Designing and implementation and managing Cisco WAAS WAN optimization that includes working with application support • Completion of ITIL awareness training, Change management, incident management, service management, and service delivery, SLA’s • Project Management and understanding of deliverables and meeting project deadlines and milestones • Experience in providing IT service to an account/customer with focus and understand the importance of operational support *Minimum Educational Requirements:* • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (at least 8-10 years experience) *Desired Certifications or Other Professional Credentials: *• CCIE or equivalent experience Thanks & Regards Amar AIM Computer Consulting LLC 17197 N Laurel Park Dr. Suite 513, Livonia, MI 48152 Tel: 734-591-3562 Ext 208 Fax: 734-418-2603 www.aim-cc.com [email protected] Yahoo IM: amarnathbhupathi Gtalk: amarnathbhupathi
