 Good morning, here's a new position from one of our sister offices.  It's a
colleague of mine. The client is Bank of NY/Mellon. It's an 8 hour
professional day. The rate is approx. $450-$500/ daily rate.  I have found a
few candidates but they don't have all the required skills. Please note that
F5 and GTM and LTM and Unix is required.  Also, AIM would have to be
approved as a vendor when we submit a candidate. I will look into what they
will be checking.

Senior F5/Load Balancing & DNS Engineer. The technical individual we seek
must have a strong understanding of Domain Name Services (DNS) and network
application load balancers such as F5 networks GTM, and LTM platform. The
individual will be required to work weekends and off shift hours in support
of application migration, testing and production implementations. The
candidate should have experience in a large scale network environment and
possess excellent inter-personal communication and diagnostic skills. They
will be required to interface closely with diverse support groups, such as
Deployment and Network Services Division, Data Center Production support,
and the project office.

Four plus years experience with server load balancing technology, including
design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance in an
enterprise production environment. Experience with F5 LTM and GTM is
required. Candidate should possess a strong knowledge of Web Servers and
proxies, knowledge of HTTP and HTTPS protocol.
Exposure and understanding of the interactions that occur between a load
balancer and stateful inspection firewall is required. Solid knowledge of
UNIX systems administration (preferably in an F5 environment), including BSD
and Linux strongly preferred. Knowledge of F5 scripting language IRULE is
desirable. Must be comfortable with troubleshooting tools including UNIX
logs, TCPDUMP and Ethereal
