Purpose of the role - How it adds value
Deliverables: criteria/results by which success can be measured:
Work with the Business Analysts to understand the business requirements.
· Assessment of functional business requirements, provide alternate
solutions, create functional and technical specifications.
·Develop, validate, test and promote BI solutions that satisfy the business
requirements
·Work closely with internal resource and a third-party vendor to coordinate
the parallel development of an Oracle BI reporting and dashboard solution.
·Provide technical guidance to staff members.
Required Skills
·At least 6-8 years of IT experience with a minimum of 3-4 years of DW/BI
expertise
·Must have at least 2 OBIEE implementation experience in a large
organization
·Oracle database, star schema modeling + DB performance, indexing, etc.
·Must have strong skills in logical and physical data modeling
·Significant experience developing and deploying Oracle Business
Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) solutions
·Expertise with Oracle Dashboards, Oracle Reports
·Full life cycle BI/DW dashboard implementation experience
·Experience working with IT development staff on complex projects
·Excellent written and oral communication skills a must
·Strong technical and problem solving skills
·Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced
environment
