ECMap Developer * DC* * 6 montes* Background: This is for the HIPAA project under "Claims Enhancement" in FEPOC. The mission for this project is to use ECMap Sybase Tool to translate from/to HIPAA format (837, 835 and so on) to/from FEPOC internal data formats, and integrate the ECMap components with Java/J2EE components and ESB within the project. Tasks: The ECMap Developer will be responsible for designing and developing business applications using ECMap Sybase Tool and Java/J2EE technology under the guidance of a Technical Leader. 1. Works with HIPAA technical leader to develop design documentation 2. Reviews HIPAA mapping requirements from Business analyst 3. Works with other team members in the development team to complete coding, unit testing and smoke testing in HIPAA project 4. Support HIPAA translation project's integration testing and system testing 5. Participates in code review, unit and system integration testing 6. Provides necessary ECMap education to other team members 7. Document system design, development and Unit testing, and transfer maintenance work to FEPOC internal staff 8. May take additional responsibilities as business needs. Skills - ECMap Developer: This position requires a BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience, and at least 5 years experience with ECMap Sybase Tool and at least 1 year experience with v5.x: - Experience with software development best practices (RUP, XP, Agile) - Experience/knowledge in developing inbound and outbound maps for X12 transactions as well as maintaining Maps implemented in production using the ECMap Sybase tool. - Knowledge with Health Care X12 transactions experience and HIPAA X12 Companion Guide knowledge is a plus - Experience in J2EE platform (JMS, EJB, Hibernate), DB2, MQ Series, XML, XSD, WebSphere and RAD is a big plus Software: 1.
