Location: St Louis, MO Duration: 6+months Rate: $40/hr max Top skills: 1. 5+ yrs. Java experience in an enterprise-scale e-commerce application environment 2. Spring Web Flow - 6 months experience is a MUST 3. Previous experience working with web services is a MUST 4. Experience with UML, Design Patterns and advanced OO concepts is a MUST 5. Solid understanding of software design/development techniques, the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), software debugging techniques, and test driven development using Junit 6. Must be able to hit the ground running and not afraid to share their opinion or how they think things can be refactored or redesigned to be made better 7. Must be a strong contributor individually and as a team. 8. Experience with client and server-side web based Java technologies, inclusive of EJB, JMS, JNDI, JDBC, HTML, JSP, CSS, SOAP, Javascript, CVS, XML, WebSphere, Tomcat, and Spring MVC 9. B.S. or Masters Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent The Primary job responsibilities for this role are as follows: - Review business requirements and recommend, design and develop appropriate technical/development solutions. - Develop software based on design specifications. - Convert existing Struts application to Spring web flow. - Translate project requirements into designs and fully functioning web flows. - Build out new capabilities (improve error handling, system resiliency, and refactor the domain model).
