Current environment- · Using Informatica version 8.1.1 on Windows server. · Oracle 10g database. · Autosys scheduler Rek # 2 Location: NC Duration: long-term Advanced troubleshooting of the software for the Windows Mobile & possibly other Standardized OS based products. You ensure that the software has the quality and performance our customers expect from client's mobile phones. You will be involved in the product development cycle from start-up of early prototypes until the last software release. The scope of your work is the overall software, from low level device driver interaction issues with hardware to core & third party applications and interoperability problems with the networks. You will analyze software behavior, locate problem areas and recommend solutions and improvements. 1. Analysis and processing of defects on system level and on specific issues of complex nature. After investigations and analysis point out the owner of an issue and who should be responsible for the correction. 2. Perform performance & stability analysis from a software perspective. 3. Work with internal & external application engineering teams to debug issues & enhance performance. 4. Work with the BSP & hardware teams to troubleshoot and understand issues and make recommendations 5. Work with verification teams to understand logs and resolve issues. This position is primarily a support role for the engineering teams. It will typically interface with several engineering teams (applications & core platform) & QA teams. 1. Strong software debugging skills. Experience in debugging embedded systems. 2. Experience with Windows Mobile and/or Windows CE based platforms 3. Strong programming skills in C\C++, Java, .Net application framework and platform builder 4. Experience with benchmarking tools and performance tuning of software 5. Experience with Qualcomm based chipset and QCT software stack is highly desirable 6.
