Title : SAS Admin Positions : Contract (1) Location : St. Louis, MO Duration : 6 - 9 months Rate : MAX $35/hr C2C Description : Please be aware that if the candidate has some of the skills but not all of the skills, they will be considered for the position. The responsibilities for the position include: 1) SAS Software Installs, both PC and Unix Server. 2) Evaluate SAS hot fixes, coordinating and assisting in the corresponding install. 3) Work with UTS team during planning and installs. 4) Storage management to insure proper installation and security. 5) Working with SAS Support to resolve issues. 6) Testing new releases of AIX and SAS. 7) Setting up new users in Management Console and in SPDS. 8) Performance evaluation. 9) Insuring t hat our environment meets the mandates of GIS. 10) Maintain the smooth working condition of the following software components on our AIX Unix server: Base SAS SAS Graph SAS Stat SAS Connect SAS Access to Oracle SAS Access to PCFF SAS Access to Netezza Enterprise Minor SAS Business Intelligence SAS Intelligence Storage SAS Integration Technologies Skills needed for this work: Expertise on an AIX Unix operating system, with SAS Software and working with SAS Support, evaluating SAS hot fixes Experience with performance evaluation, working with Unix Technical teams, with storage monitoring Experience installing PC SAS, Enterprise Guide, and Enterprise Minor Thin Client. Experience with the following is helpful: Base SAS , SAS Graph, SAS Stat, SAS Connect , SAS Access to Oracle, SAS Access to PCFF SAS Access to Netezza, Enterprise Minor, SAS Business Intelligence, SAS Intelligence Storage SAS Integration Technologies Education: BS degree or equivalent combination of experience an d formal education.
