Client: Sencore Duration: 1 year Main emphasis is on embedded software engineering with C++, Audio video background is a must. Development experience Client Embedded Software Engineer works within a design team to develop software for new products and updating software for older products as well. Our software engineer will work with a team of other software and electrical engineers on the complete design of new products software / hardware and will be overseen by a project manager including all stages of development ~ conceptualization, feasibility testing, design and final documentation. This person will be expected to primarily utilize C, C++, revision control and other software development tools to accomplish their design goals. Educational Req: BSCS, BSSE required. MSCS a plus. Qualifications: Must Haves: C++ OOP C Software Design Patterns I2C Protocol Highly Desired: Embedded Software Architecture and Design Client/Server Architecture Linux and/or Windows Drivers Working knowledge in ST7100, ATSC, DVB, H.264 MPEG/PSI/PSIP Preferred: Subversion Mantis PHP JavaScript Video/Audio Knowledge of FPGA Design Streamer Product Experience Audio/Video Receiver Decoder Experience Experience: At least 5-7 years in software development & troubleshooting preferred.
