The incumbent manages and develops direct reports, including timely feedback, training, and career development. S/he will lead a team of developers to design effective solutions for auditors. This includes the analysis of data on both distributed and mainframe platforms within the Corporation for the purpose of supporting Audits. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for supporting distributed applications within the Department. S/he has knowledge of technologies at use within the project(s) for which s/he is responsible. Job holder must have experience with managing client expectations and communicating effectively with management on service-related issues. Prior experience managing, planning, and tracking multiple projects is required. The individual will interact with members of the Audit teams to determine needs and solutions and be responsible for providing management reporting and associated metrics. The qualified candidate will have a 4 year degree in accounting or finance or relevant field or equivalent experience. MIS Degree preferred. He/she should have a minimum of 7 years of application programming experience in the mainframe and distributed environments. Preferred Experience: Prior experience leading a team. S/He should have strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills. S/he should also be experienced in developing, maintaining and utilizing information repositories. Experience with the following languages and technologies is preferred: XML, HTML, Cold Fusion MX, Harvest, relational databases (specifically, MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, and MS Access): Transact SQL; .net; SQL; UNIX shell scripting; Visual Basic; C++. A familiarity with various data analysis tools is beneficial.
