Hi All, VMWare Engineer Columbus,Ohio 6 months plus (possibility of long term) Interview type: Face to face most likely Certifications are Preferable Required Skills: At least four (4) years of verifiable experience as a VMWARE Systems Engineer during the past six (6) years. This experience must include designing, building (including installation of VI3), administering, maintaining and troubleshooting complex VMware environments (farms) for test and production use. This experience should also include understanding of the VMware technologies Capacity Planner, Virtual Center, VMotion, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). At least two (2) years of verifiable experience with VMware version 3. At least (3) years of verifiable experience using Enterprise Server Version (ESX) to support datacenter mission-critical applications. At least two (2) years of verifiable experience designing, building, administering, maintaining and troubleshooting complex distributed system environments utilizing Active Directory, Windows Server 2003 or 2008, Structured Query Language (SQL), load balancing, clustering, Host Bus Adaptor failover configuration and Network Interface Cards (NIC) teaming. At least three (3) years of verifiable experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN) storage. At least three (3) years of verifiable experience with designing, building and supporting geographically dispersed redundancy and failover. Documented exposure to latest version of VMware, vSphere v4.0. Documented ability to document architecture designs, system configurations and deployment designs and create assembly guides and operational manuals.
