A is in St. Louis, MO and they do Automated Meter Reading which is a technology that allows the Utility Companies to read the gas and electric (and water I guess) readings electronically. Some companies do this using satellite, others do it with cell towers. Location is St. Louis and they need to be on-site Client is Aclara, but I am looking for competitor candidates as well (IE Cellnet, Itron, Trilliant etc) Start Asap (June 29) 9 month contract I. SCOPE OF POSITION Software development and design on a large, very complex J2EE system. Work with Sr. Developers and Architects to develop responsibilities for sections of the system. II. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · J2EE development including testing, coding, debugging and documentation. · Mapping Use Cases into design specifications applying UML, patterns, best practices, etc. · Understand the business logic of a very complex domain. · Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle from inception to transition. III.
