Face to Face interview may be REQUIRED.* *Role:* Web Product Designer/ Front End Web Developer – 6 month contract located in downtown Dallas *Required Skills:* Proficiency with XHTML, XML, and CSS Expert level knowledge of all web design and development software included in the CS4 Web Premium Package. (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Flash ActionScript 3.0, Dreamweaver) Deep understanding of cross-browser compatibility (Microsoft IE, Netscape, Safari, and Firefox) and fixes for common issues. Deep understanding of web standards (Front End: XHTML, CSS, Flash) Deep understanding of usability principles (Layout, accessibility, readability, user behavior, etc.) Ability to work in team environment as well as independently on given projects. 3 years of interactive design and front end development (ability to design mockups and code XHTML) Understanding of DOM Hierarchal Design and Implementation General understanding of JavaScript Degree is strongly desired *General Summary: * Develop the front-end user interface of dynamic, database-driven web sites or applications. Work closely with team of designers and back-end developers to ensure that all of the technical and product requirements are met or exceeded. Generate application designs based on technical documents (wire frames, requirement documents) and information gathered from product development team (from notes and meetings with appropriate stakeholders) for the purposes of application development. Work closely with entire Product Development & Maintenance team to ensure that each applications' intent, functionality, usability requirements are evident in final application design and front end development. Develop user interface using appropriate web technology (Flash, ActionScript 3.0, XHTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript) while adhering to web standards for integration of back-end programming. Provide ongoing design and front end development support to allow seamless product enhancement and refinement. Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure wire frames are developed appropriately, meet internal standards and can be easily understood and used for application development and design.
