Hi All,

 

The client is looking for candidates having experience on WebSphere,
Unix (primarily AIX) & Linux. Financial industry a plus but not a
requirement. Position 6+ months. Rate DOE.  Location Metro Detroit /
Troy, MI area.

We can either go with   
        WebSphere admin with Unix/Linux 
        or 
        Unix/Linux Engineer with WebSphere.

 


        *        Bachelor degree and a minimum of 7 years of related
experience or 11 years of related experience. 
*        7 years of support in a production application server
environment for external clients using multiple UNIX operating systems
including hardware installation, configuration, troubleshooting,
and problem resolution. 
*        7 years systems analysis experience. 
*        6 years of design and engineering of technical architecture in
a UNIX  environment to meet business requirements as well as systems
analysis experience. 
*        6 years of IBM WebSphere Application Server and/or IIS Web
Server software experience. 
*        6 years experience in technologies such as Internet/Intranet,
LAN/WAN, as well as network communications. 
*        5 years of project experience on medium projects comprised of
multiple technical areas (network, operations, security, audit,
application support, etc. 
*        5 years of strong scripting experience.  PERL, CGI, Korn &
Bourne. 
*        4 years HMC experience building LPARS,
installing/imaging/updating HMC software, and using WebSM tools. 
*        4 years installing and performance tuning AIX 5L. 
*        4 years NIM/Infrastructure setup to centrally manage software
installation/ imaging, maintenance upgrades, and backups of NIM clients.

*        3 years of experience with IBM Virtual I/O Server.
