*DATA CENTER TECHNICIAN WITH MDF IDF CABLING* Location: Marlborough, MA Duration: 6+ months Rate: $40/hr max *Description* The DATA CENTER Technician (Consultant) will be responsible for day-to-day monitoring and management of our client’s data centers. Responsibilities will involve the coordination of various teams required to process a system installation, move, or decommission in addition to the management and enhancement of the process for keeping a data center inventory accurate and up to date. Lastly, the DATA CENTER Technician will be responsible for the supervision of the data centers to ensure that the established processes are being followed and that the facilities are being kept clean and organized. * * *Additional Responsibilities**:* *Rack and Stack of equipment* - Install equipment if needed - Perform site surveys to accommodate installations - Coordinate with internal and external resources * * *DCM Requests* - Receive and determine approach - Scope work and determine requirements - Coordinate with internal resources - Coordinate with vendors ** *Remedy Requests* Coordination in resolving "Break/Fix" type issues * * *Invoices* - Review & Prepare for Approval - Resolve open issues * * *Shipping and Receiving* - Inventory tracking - Accept equipment - Notification of inventory arrival and status, as needed * * *Auditing * - Standards and Practices - Location Access - Installations - Temperature Readings - Inventory * * *Develop Standards/Procedures* - Cabling (MDF/IDF) - Installations - Access - Equipment Installation - Equipment Decommissioning *General* - Tour Locations - Work closely with internal resources *Required Expertise**:* 1. Past Health Insurance industry experience would be a plus. DESCRIPTION: Knowledge of Stored Procedures , SQL, J2EE, Servlets, SITEMESH, Filters , Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HTML specs is required. Knowledge of Catapult, eXtreme, Spring, and Spring WebFlow is preferred. *JOB TITLE: SYSTEM ARCHITECT (J2EE/ORACLE/POWERBUILDER)*** * * Location: Madison, WI Duration: 12 months Rate: $40-43/hr Description: Duties limited but are not limited to understanding and enhancing user environment; performing technical analysis, data modeling, database development, creating user interface; and writing queries and backend objects. In addition the candidate, the candidate will design and develop J2EE online applications while maintaining and updating Sybase EAServer based online applications and helping to migrate them to new J2EE environment. The candidate will also perform Client-server development and maintain and general reports using PowerBuilder development environment. Finally, the candidate must demonstrate quality leadership in handling and leading the projects within the available resources. Skills/Experience: The candidate must demonstrate simultaneous expertise in EAServer, power dynamo, PowerBuilder, Oracle, J2EE, RAD and STRUTS development. Expertise in SQL plus, TTOAD and Sybase APPmodeler will be plus. Candidate must perform in Oracle backend development e.g. writing packages, triggers, views, and other related backend jobs.
