*Description*
The Client is recruiting a Data & Business Analyst to support the Product
Operations department on a multi-year project to launch a new options
trading system. The Product Operations department is operationally
responsible for the options listed at the CLIENT, and also provides CLIENT
member firms (broker-dealers) with access to the CLIENT trading system.
*Responsibilities:*
· Write functional and procedural documents relating to the
treatment of reference data. The audience for these documents consists of
developers, project team members, and department colleagues.
· Provide technical data specification documents for the CLIENT
Development team.
· Create external member communications to provide information about
the process by which CLIENT member firms will gain access to the new trading
system
· Create project plans including implementation strategy for the
Product Operations Department.
· Participate in project planning meetings as functional Product
Operations expert/representative.
· Manage and execute the data conversion & maintenance process in
support of the mission-critical testing and production rollout phases
· Additional assignments/tasks as assigned
*Experience Required*
· At least 6 years experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in
equity or derivatives trading technology for an exchange or a brokerage /
financial firm.
· Significant knowledge of options is strongly preferred
· Project experience for a major enterprise Client-wide project,
preferably relating to a trading platform or system implementation.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Project is preferred.
· Data migration/data conversion experience strongly preferred.
· Self starter/quick learner as the consultant will be required to
learn the current platform as the baseline for the project Keen attention to
detail
· Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
· Dynamic personality with ability to attain buy-in from key
stakeholders as well as multi-task
