We have an urgent requirement for *System Administrator for UNIX/DataTel* in *Phoenix**, AZ.* Please submit only suitable resumes ASAP. *NOTE:* *Consultants must be Green Card Holders or US Citizens* * * *Note: The key is "DataTel" - if the candidate does not have recent DataTel experience as a DBA or Sys/Admin, they will not be considered. * *Title: System Administrator for UNIX/DataTel* *Location: Phoenix, AZ* *Duration: 12 Months* *Rate: Open* * * *Requirements:* - Self-starter with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, and multi-vendor UNIX experience (preferably Sun, Solaris) - At least *3 years* experience administering *UNIX (preferably DataT el/UniData).* - Extensive knowledge of UNIX productivity tools including sh/csh, Perl, sed, awk, and grep - Strong programming skills, particularly shell scripts, Perl, and C/C++ - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work independently and in teams Proven ability to work well with people *Desirable:* Experience with administrative application software such as *DataTel's Colleague *and* Benefactor * *Experience: * - A minimum of a BS degree in Computer Science or related field is necessary, or three to four years of equivalent work experience may be considered in place of qualification. Some formal computer programming training is required. * * *Required Skills:* - UNIX, two years programming on mini / midrange system with relational database experience. - Basic programming, *SQL Server Database Administration* experience, *T-SQL experience and DTS/SSIS package creation * *Highly Desirable*: *Datatel Colleague *or *Benefactor* software, *Unidata, Uniquery, Unibasic* *Preferred: * - Basic knowledge of web applications and HTML.
