Support engineer for BPM, Weblogic and ELF infrastructurer -Warren , NJ - 3
to 6 months

 

Scope of Work: 

Due to increased adoption across sectors the group of STEs(Weblogic,
Aqualogic BPM, ELF) a  replacement is required  to meet current support
commitments (including new initiative to use Vmware) for on shore coverage
in addition to off shore support resources. The position is for a Support
Engineer in Middleware area (Weblogic, BPM, ELF) 

Competencies:
Support engineer for BPM, Weblogic and ELF infrastructure. Primary
responsibilities include environment provisioning, monitoring, product
administration, application deployment assistance, Level 1 support and off
shore team coordination. Work with various stakeholders - application
development teams, System Administrators, DBAs, infrastructure support teams
and vendor.  

Technical Skills required: 
Experience with application support, highly available, scalable environment.

Experience in coordinating with other infrastructure support teams 
Capacity Planning, Network configurations and storage requirements. 
Product support knowledge for industry-standard technologies (e..g.
Java/J2EE, Weblogic, Websphere, middleware, Databases). 
Experience in full software development (or software infrastructure) life
cycle in an enterprise environment. 
Strong background on both the Unix (Solaris, Linux) and Windows platforms. 
Administration experience in Weblogic and Business Process Management tools.


NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS: 
Excellent documentations/communication and interpersonal skills, and ability
to articulate technical opinions to large audience with various skill
levels. Must be a team player
