We are actually looking for SAAS (software as a service) profiles. Functional Tester (QTP) with 6-7 years with atleast 2 years in SAAS Applications -- 3 Months onsite (TX/CA) and thereafter offshore (Bangalore) (Total 2 positions) Performance Tester (LR) with 6-7 years with atleast 2 years in SAAS Applications -- Long term Onsite (CA/TX) contract (Total 3 Positions) 1. Performance tester: Long term onshore positions in Texas and/or California. Senior testers with 7 years experience. Two to three positions. 2. Manual Functional tester: 3 months onshore (Texas and/or California) and 9 months offshore (Bangalore). Senior testers with 7 years experience. One to two positions. # Tester (Senior-level, 6-8 Years, Manual Functional) Tester (Senior-level, 6-8 Years, Performance) 1 Deep experience in testing complex high availability, multi-tenant SaaS applications Strong experience in performance/scale testing of complex SaaS applications 2 Deep experience in testing web applications Strong working admin-level knowledge Linux and Windows 3 Knowledgeable in ASP, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, and XML. Programming skills in scripting languages such as Python or Jython 4 Knowledge of protocols such as HTTP, SSL, SMTP, SNMP, and LDAP Strong working knowledge of various system performance monitoring utilities such as perfmon, vmstat, top, iostat, sar, etc; 5 Excellent ability to troubleshoot and isolate application issues Strong working knowledge of load generation tools (e.g LoadRunner, JMeter, TestMaker) 6 Solid admin-level knowledge of multiple versions of Microsoft Windows and Linux. Proficient at installation, configuration, and troubleshooting at the application, OS and networking level. Basic Relational DB administration skills 7 Familiar with network infrastructure such as routers, load balancers, proxy servers, and firewalls Proven ability to collect performance baseline data and to do initial root cause analysis based on performance testing data 8 Experience with SQL to perform data validation. Ability to do initial root cause analysis on performance testing data 9 Proven ability to provide technical guidance to other QA Engineers. Must be able to collect and analyze results, producing performance report and sizing model for production planning 10 Network Administration experience with Windows/Linux networks Experience with application profilers (e.g. Yourkit, Jprofiler, Jprobe) a plus. 11 Flexible and adaptable in meeting the changing needs of the department and business. Basic programming skills in Java or C# is a plus. 12 Good verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly articulate complex technical issues and relate to customers requirements/needs. Experience with SMTP, network configuration, and Active Directory. 13 Experience with i18N and L10N Experience with Microsoft Exchange administration, mail routing, and enterprise anti-spam/anti-virus and archive products is a strong plus 14 Experience with quality systems such as ISO, CMM, or Six Sigma 15 Experience with SMTP, network configuration, and Active Directory. 16 Experience with Microsoft Exchange administration is a strong plus. 17 Hands on experience with the use of various defect tracking systems (ie: Bugzilla, TeamTrack, Test Track, Remedy) and source code management systems (Clear Case, CVS, VSS, Perforce).
