ASAP Position: Senior Oracle DBA with PeopleSoft Application Development Experience Location: CA Duration:12 Months+ Job Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 7-10 years experience. Leads the design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's physical, relational, and object-oriented databases across multiple platforms and computing environments. Develops data architectures and database management policies and standards. Provides senior-level consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues. Serve as a high-level resource on database management issues, and participate in the planning, design, and usage of data resources. - Install, configure, administer and manage PeopleSoft applications, Oracle 9i/10g and MS SQL - Performance monitoring, Database and SQL tuning - Perform database Backups and Recovery, when needed - Design, test, implement, maintain and control the organization's physical, relational, and object-oriented databases across multiple platforms and computing environments. - Participate in the development of data architectures and database management policies and standards for current and future applications. - Provide in-depth consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues in a timely and professional manner. - Participate in the planning, design and usage of data resources. - Provide support to development team on infrastructure and DBA Support. - May develop detailed data models and entity relationship diagrams. - May Provide 24 X 7 on-call support and may have to work in shifts, if and when required.
