Job Description:

 

SR/LEAD SAP PI BASIS Consultant with strong PI Upgrade experience. This
position is primarily responsible to upgrade existing PI 7.0 environment
to PI 7.1. This process involves upgrading SAP PI Seeburger Adapter:
BIC/Hitech and SAP PI Seeburger Adapter for AS2. Part of this
requirement involve doing multiple dual stack system copies, SLD upgrade
and Migration.

 

Required Skills

 

. Must have a degree with 7 - 10 years of consulting experience with SAP
Basis in a medium- to large-sized environment.
. Must have 3+ years of hands on experience with Netweaver 2004S or
higher with dual stack system copy experience.
. Must have carried out Upgrade of SAP PI , preferably SAP PI 7.0 to SAP
PI 7.1
. Strong technical skills in ORACLE Database.
. Proficiency in handling SAP PI Seeburger Adapter: BIC/Hitech version
2.1 & SAP PI Seeburger Adapter for AS2 version 2.1
. Strong troubleshooting experience in JAVA Stack.
. Priori working knowledge and experience on Installation, Configuration
and Management of SLD for EP and XI landscapes.
. Strong Basis experience in installation, upgrades, patching,
administration, system copies, performance tuning, and monitoring of SAP
applications.
. Work closely with Development and Functional teams in resolving
application issues.
. Strong UNIX (AIX) experience.
. Familiarity with SMD, proxy connectivity configuration and debugging
are highly desirable as well as the demonstrated ability to successfully
work in a fast-paced environment with multiple and rapidly changing
priorities.
. In-depth knowledge of PI architecture and PI Adapter framework.
Extensive experience in working with Integration builder (Integration
repository, integration directory), Integration engine, and runtime
workbench.
. Experience in handling message-level security and dealing with
third-party adapter.
. Implementation with SAP XI/PI middleware and Seeburger's BIC and AS2
Adapter.
. Provide support for hardware, software, and/or network connectivity
problems.
. Provide on-call support outside normal business hours as needed.
. Experience supporting end-user community, responding to help desk
calls and trouble tickets, working with vendors to resolve HW and SW
problems.
. Experience supporting multiple hardware server platforms and operating
systems a strong plus. 
. Provide on-call support outside normal business hours as needed.
