Response Time: Immediate Requirement: Title: Project Manager W/ Freddie Mac Exp. & COTS solutions Position: 2 Duration: 6+ months ((with ability to extend)) Location: McLean, VA Interview: Immediate Description: Multifamily Asset Management Pipeline Phase 1. The purpose of this project is to develop business requirements, design solutions (which may include COTS vendor, build or both) & estimate Phase 2 project schedule and cost. Scope of work includes: 1. Work as team member on business side of the Multifamily Asset Management Re-platform project reporting to the Business Lead. 2. Execute project work plan, track progress, and revise plan as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Manage day-to-day operational aspects and work assignments of a five-person project team. 3. In conjunction with IT Project Manager, manage and track action items, issues, and risks to the project. Follow up on items with appropriate parties to ensure their resolution and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion. 4. Review deliverables prepared by team members for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards. Ensure project documents are current and stored appropriately. 5. Conduct status meetings and ensure team members are kept well informed of changes and status. 6. Participate in business requirements elicitation meetings and requirements documentation. Assist in synthesizing business information into clearly articulated business requirement documents according to Freddie Mac standards, including but not limited to the following: Process Flows Diagrams, Process Narratives, Functional Requirements, Business Rules, and Use/Collaboration Cases. 7. Collaborate with internal business and IT team members to ensure project success. Skill: Mid-level (3-7 yrs) 1. 5+ years of experience in managing and implementing mission-critical business applications. Experience with implementing COTS solutions a plus. 2. Familiarity with different development lifecycles and methodologies. 3. 4+ years of experience working with business and IT in gathering requirements and creating Business Requirement Documents. Strong facilitation skills and process-driven analytical skills with ability to elicit requirements across business organizational boundaries. 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with team members, SMEs, and management on both the business and IT sides. 5. Understanding of the mortgage industry, preferably commercial or multifamily real estate asset management. 6. Understanding of servicing and loan accounting a plus.
