This position works in collaboration with Quality Assurance, Product Management, Data Warehousing, Solution Center, and other IT stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed meet the required deliverables. This position takes direction from the higher levels of the applications development team (architects, senior architects, and management). CORE Experience & Education Required: * 7-10 years experience of *UI* Experience * Must have 7 years of application development experience * Must have 4 years of leading *UI* Design efforts * Must be the creative type of person not just a coder * Must be able to be hands on in the presentation layer * Must have past experience in contact with users, management, members, QA, stakeholders, etc. * Must have SOLID experience in Usability Leadership (Usability studies, usability training, design practices, design standards, conducting usability testing). * Strong *UI* design skills: usability testing, human factors engineering, graphics design * Must have experience using *Java* * Must have 7 years experience in STRUTS * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Database architecture * A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) required.
