We have an urgent requirement for *Lead Business Analyst* with *Data

*Title: Business Analyst Lead (Data Warehousing and Insurance exp)*

*Location: Jersey City, NJ*

*Duration: 6-12+ Months*



*Description**:* A Business System Analyst (BSA) to take responsible and
independent charge of Business process and Data Analysis on a Regulatory
Reporting System.

**



*Experience and Qualifications**:*

·          *6 - 8 years in a BSA lead* role leading large complex and “*time
box*” projects.

·          Data Analysis: executing data queries and performing data
research (via MS Access, PL/SQL, or the equivalent)

·          Ability to take a holistic view of the reportable data and find
out how it will tie back to the source systems.

·          Ability to articulate thoughts clearly in writing and during
technical discussions & presentations.

·          A BSA role implementing new *Data Warehouse applications* or
major enhancements using *ETL, Java* and *COGNOS8* technologies.

·          Hands-on experience with a full systems life cycle methodology
from Requirements Analysis to User Acceptance Testing.

·          Mandatory *Insurance experience* (any combination of *P&C,
workers Compensation, Medical Billing*).

·          Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the
development team, management, business users, other IT systems owners and
DA/DBA group.

·          Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and
written) used in daily interaction with the Business, CTO and Technical
team.

·          Be a self-motivating individual and perform independently in a
dynamic environment.

·          Be a strong Team player

·          Prior experience in top tier consulting firms a plus.

*Responsibilities**:*

·          Ability to work independently to perform Detailed Business
Process and Data Analysis.

·          Expand on Sub Business processes as identified in Business System
concept Document prepared during Discovery phase

·          Organize and schedule business requirements analysis tasks with
the Business including conducting JAD sessions.

·          Analyze and document Detailed Business Requirements for Business
users and develop FSD/Data requirements for the ETL team; Prepare all
requisite Business process related project documentation as per PMO defined
artifacts for a large scale project (in line with CMM Methodology).

·          Coordinate with Data Modeler to prepare FSD/SDD

·          Assist with source data analysis and profiling.

·          Assist in the development of Source to Target Mappings.

·          Interact with the ETL development team and remove any knowledge
gaps that might exist.
