We have the following requirement with a Preferred Vendor of the client. Please send an updated profile along with contact details including the rate ASAP Systems Developer / Analyst Rate: $40/hr Location: Hartford, CT Duration: 5 Months Start Date: ASAP Requirement / Experience: Proposed candidate should have a minimum six (6) years of overall experience including - . At least 3 yrs experience installing, configuring, tuning and administering the Apache Tomcat 6.0 Web servers on Solaris environment; . Working knowledge of 3-tier web technologies and hands-on experience deploying and configuring the Web Archive applications (.war) on Tomcat; . Experience writing custom file parsers for converting fixed-length/EDI files to CSV & Java objects; . Experience installing/configuring Sun's Java Virtual Machine (JVM, v1.5) on Solaris v5.9; . At least 5 years hands-on experience with Oracle 9i/10g and MS-Access 2000/2003 databases; this include ability to build scripts to create, modify database objects, such as, schema, tables, views, indexes and procedures; . Strong programming and development skills in SQL, PL/SQL, XML, Java and MS-Access; Proficiency in SQL tuning; . Proficiency in using Oracle support tools/utilities, such as, SQL Plus, TOAD, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Explain, SQL Trace . Experience with the Solaris command line: transfer files with scp, set environment variables, monitor processes and logs etc; . Experience setting up and troubleshooting ODBC connections between Oracle & Access; . Experience developing test scripts, plans and strategy; ability to affectively analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues without assistance; . Proficiency in using MS-Project, MS-Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word; . Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are critical; .
