Title : Weblogic Administrator Location : Jersey City, NJ Contract : 6 Months
Description One of major financial clients is looking for a Weblogic Administrator for a 6-month contract position in Jersey City, NJ. This position is accountable for TSS ATS/BAU portal Infrastructure support , Deployment, administration and engineering of Oracle Weblogic and Weblogic Portal. The engineer is responsible for implementing, doing hardware design and architecture while working in a Sun Solaris environment. Strong trouble-shooting, redundancy and recovery procedures, and monitoring systems is required. This person will maintain and administer Weblogic Portal Infrastructure, be working with Developers during development phase to integrate the application into Weblogic portal, Provide 24x7 rotation environment support, plan, coordinate, and implement standards, recommend changes to improve performance, deploy and implement standard web services using Apache, coordinates installation of new hardware/software; installs, tests, and monitors the operation of hardware/software; configures hardware/software to meet project goals, debug application issue, handle scheduled code deployments, build and maintain web servers such as Sun one iplanet, apache, IBM HIS, work across work streams with other application team to integrate the application together.
