Title : Designer Positions : Contract (1) Location : Atlanta, GA Duration : 6 - 9 months
Description : Below should cover the expectations of a Designer. Responsibility: 1. Understand requirements [strong usage of UML semantics, Use Case Models and SOMA (with RUP) would be great because SNET uses all these skills at the requirements stage.] 2. Understand and critique Conceptual Architecture [A designer should understand how to convert architecture artifacts like CA documents in SNET environment into TDD and/or SDD.] 3. Leads Service Design effort [ A designer should know all aspects of designing, not just service design! A designer should know end-to-end designing in PIM and PSM regardless of technologies/tools; usage/experience with RSA and or WBM will be a nice-to-have attribute!] 4. Creates Technical Design and Service Design Document(SDD) 5. Evaluates and recommends Technical feasibility/fitment of Vendor product/solution [Good to have but the technology strengths in IBM tools will be a great asset.] 6. Review Technical design with SNet Modelers, SNet Architect and SNet design team [must have used tools like RSA, WBM and the like!] 7. Ensure enterprise alignment of solution approach [The designer should be clear about how to align EA with the PSM technology solution for all types of technologies inclusive of IBM tools and other vendor offerings] 8. Provide estimates during design phase for solution delivery [by using COCOMO, FPA, UCA and such!] 9. Involve SNet Modeling(CA phase) and SNet Architect as appropriate [the designer should be a generalist with UML and UP but a specialist with class models, data models, message models, data structures like XSD and such.] Skill set: 1. Message broker 2. MQ series 3. IBM WebSphere - WESB (Application Server and ESB - both are needed.] 4.
