* * * * *Hi,* *Location: West suburbs of Chicago, IL* *Duration: 3-6 months contract to hire* *Bill rate: Open; candidates must submit full time salary requirement* *We prefer local candidates or those within driving distance, and those on EAD, GC or Citizens* *Responsibilities:* · Design and develop or modify ETL processes that load data for the data warehouse users or for web applications using Informatica · Follow the change management process to resolve application defects or to implement development enhancements · Provide assistance with ETL standards and design for future supportability and ease of enhancements · Assist with the creation of reusable components as they relate to the ETL framework · Assist with the management of ETL scalability and system management · Take ownership for any issue and work to reach resolution and prevent similar issues from recurring · Lead ETL projects by providing accurate estimates, collecting requirements, developing timelines and work management · Provide assistance with ETL design, development, and performance tuning · Provide level-3 production support for data warehouse jobs on a rotational basis · Design and architect ETL solutions as part of a cross-functional team; and Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them, often under tight deadlines *Qualifications:* · *Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field of study; Master's degree highly desired. * · *Must also have at least 5 years of data transformation experience working with Advanced Informatica (8.x or higher), data warehouse - star schema, data modeling, Unix shell scripting, advanced SQL, and stored procedures. * · *Desired technical skills include: TCP/IP networking, FTP protocols, MS Office, Relational database (Oracle), Informatica Administration, PowerCenter Real Time, PowerCenter WebServices.
