Position: SAS Developer w/Insurance Industry Location: Wilmington, DE Duration: 6 months
JOB DESCRIPTION PLEASE READ COMPLETELY Develops and prepares computer systems requirements and develops procedures to process data. Analyzes functional problems and determines techniques and requirements most feasible for processing the data. Prepares definition of functional problems and makes recommendations for enhancements or modifications to deliver solutions. Develops analytical reports or other products. [PB] Must be capable of modifying or enhancing applications in accordance with recommendations. o Graduate degree preferred o Application Development experience to include one or more of the SAS Modules. o Experience in development of project documentation, testing materials and execution, training materials, requirements gathering including downstream and upstream interface requirements and adhering to a project management methodology is a must o Business/domain experience o Basic understanding of international actuarial valuation processing and knowledge of various life insurance product experience is preferred. o Knowledge of basic actuarial valuation standards and processes inclusive of first principles and tabular basis methodologies. o Knowledge of and or experience with SAS required.
