*Contractor Skills Needed:* *The contractor is expected to have demonstrated skills and knowledge in the following areas:* Mandatory Requirement: Experience (in years) Where Documented in Resume A bachelor’s degree in information technology/computer science, or Minimum 5 years dedicated technical experience administering relational databases. Minimum 3 year's experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008 software tools to administer SQL Server databases. Minimum 3 years experience in writing SQL scripts and Stored procedures. Minimum 5 years experience providing database support for applications; developing and implementing emergency fixes; resolving database problems. Minimum 5 years experience researching and documenting solutions to database problems. The following working knowledge and demonstrated skills are *desirable*: Desirable Education and/or Skills: Experience (in years) Where documented in resume Experience administering MySQL, Oracle, and/or PostGres databases. Experience in Integration Services and Reporting Services Experience tuning and optimizing databases. Experience working with Data Modeling Software Tools and ER Diagrams. Knowledge of Windows Server 2003 Operating System Experience working for large organizations (over 1000 employees) Experience programming in .Net. General knowledge of client/server, web, and Industry Standard architectures.
