Position:* Websphere Commerce Server Lead/ Architect *Location:* Boston (Local pref.) *Duration:* 6-8 Months *Rate:* $40/ Hr (No Negotiation)* Responsible for identifying, documenting and communicating technology solutions in *WCS. * Provision of high level technical skills in the areas of analysis, technical design and development to provide solutions to business projects of customers. Architect solutions that are aligned with business strategic objectives and can be delivered within agreed time frames. *Current Job Details: Specific Skills Required: * - Experienced on Web *IBM WebSphere commerce 5.6 *or greater - Must have hands-on experience in architecture/design/development of solutions for WebSphere Commerce to enable business processes requiring web commerce functional enablement - Must have experience with at least 1 end-to-end implementation of a WebSphere Commerce-based solution - Must have *J2EE skills, strong WebSphere Application Server knowledge, and strong relational database skills*. General Skills Required: - Responsible for writing architecture design documentation, performing design and analysis for WebSphere Commerce, architecting solutions, guiding development teams, and resolving technical issues. - Technical support and development guidance delivered directly to customers (business & IT) by telephone, e-Mail, presentations. - Interface with customers, developers, product vendors (business partners, product client/sales representatives, testers, and other support organizations). - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Web Commerce domain knowledge and awareness of latest trends and industry direction in the Web Commerce space. - Knowledge about integration technologies/approaches with back end systems via middleware technologies like MQ and other MOM products is desirable.
