Response Time: Immediate Requirement: Title: Web Administrator (Locals/Nearbys 1st Pref) Position: 2 Duration: Few Weeks Onsite training and later on Remote work (6-8 Months) Location: Washington, DC Interview: Immediate Description: We are in need of a person for about 6 to 8 months who could manage our web site. This is not a web master but more of an admistrative type person with the following skills: The basic tasks are: - Creating new service pages, objects, tables, document association trees, etc. using our content management system (CMS) - Integrating flash into existing CMS - Editing existing pages, tables and objects - Securing pages and documents through Authentix - Working with groups to come up with creative solutions to our CMS limitations - Trouble shooting unstable pages, formatting inconsistencies, missing documents, CMS (Content Management System) problems, etc. through back and front end and Working with external IT vendors, internal IT support and service managers. We would train the individual to use the existing tools. This is not a programming job thats why I used the title of Web Administrator. I see the position as someone who could work from home after the training period and be responsive to the emails and I would estimate that we have 4 or 5 problems per day. Our web site is under review to be rewritten and the person who was doing this is moving on to another area. After you think about it lets talk and see what we can do.
