Urgent Need: XML Schema Modeler for a Position in CT for a 3 to 6+ Months Contract.

Position Title: XML Schema Modeler Location: CT Duration: 3 to 6+ Months Face to face required Role summary: This individual will work on the CodeRunner architecture team, with specific focus on delivering the domain object model and supporting XML canonical definitions for the project. Will be responsible for helping kick-start the initial development of XML-based models from existing enterprise reference models, as well as helping to define the infrastructure and tools required to support this into the future (schema repository/registry, etc.). Responsibilities: - Creation and definition of shared domain object model for the CodeRunner project in the Clients Place - Design and documentation of processes and best practices around the incorporation of XML schema/service definitions into the project - Analysis and mapping of domain object model to enterprise data services and logical data models, and creation of supporting documentation - Alignment with enterprise standards/best practices for service/model creation, as well as augmentation where necessary through partnership - Creation of domain XML schemata for use in services, and messaging/integration - Coordination with data modeling, and architecture resources - Evangelization of the solution and mentoring on the supporting technologies (XML registry, XSLT/XQuery transformation capabilities, etc.) - Development of scenarios/tests to validate the mapping definitions, schema validation, and transformations between canonical formats - Support project management, architecture, and development teams as needed to drive towards delivery of overall solution. Qualifications: - Must have proven experience in advanced schema definition (restrictions, typing, external references, etc.), and XML transformation (XSLT/Xquery). - Proven track record of working on large EAI/SOA software delivery projects - Must have expertise in data mapping from multiple disparate data sources to single domain model. - Good understanding of data migration/transformation processes and tools. - Good understanding of concerns/constraints in mapping between data (relational), XML, and polymorphic/object models. - Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to define solutions. - Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with design tools for XML-based vocabulary technologies - Ability to produce technical documentation and test scripts; - Be a self-starter, self-directed, have ability to set goals, establish priorities, and deliver high- quality results in a timely manner - Must have ability to be hands-on in the development of the solution, experience in Java/EE environments is helpful - Exposure to health-care systems and industry reference models or standards would be helpful.
