Job Title: *SAS Programmer – US Citizen Only*
Location: *Raleigh**, NC** - US Citizen Only*
Duration: *6 Months*

*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:*
- SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence Tools
- SAS Enterprise Data Integration Tools
- SAS Enterprise Foundation Technologies, including SAS Java API
- SAS programming
- Business intelligence/data visualization, especially OLAP reporting
using current generation SAS tools
- Recent experience with current Web application technologies, such as
Java, J2EE, Ajax, JavaScript, IBM Websphere, Apache Tomcat
- Oracle and other relational databases
- SAS Bridge to ESRI desirable
- Unix (especially Solaris 10 operating system) desirable
*Working knowledge and experience with technology and applications
including:*
- Proven work experience designing, developing, and deploying
applications using the SAS version 9.x Intelligent Platform technology,
architecture, and resources
- Proven track record for designing, developing, and deploying Web-based
business intelligence applications using SAS and Web application
technologies
- Strong facilitation, interpersonal, and oral/written communication
skills
- Proven problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to generate detailed and comprehensive work plans and status
reports
- Ability to work with management at all levels in planning and
implementing business intelligence applications
- Experience implementing GIS components and data visualization in
business intelligence applications desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline with
specialized coursework or work experience pertaining to data warehousing and
business intelligence.
- Minimum of (5) five or more years developing applications using SAS and
Web application technologies or an equivalent combination of training and
experience.
- Experience in the field of work related to the position’s role may be
substituted on a year-for-year basis especially in application development
environments.
*PREFERRED*:
- Certification on the SAS 9.x software platform.
