DoITT. Candidates with prior NYC gov't agency experience will be preferred.
*MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE *
- A minimum of 8 years experience in Java/J2EE development for
large-scale enterprise applications;
- Experience in Service Oriented Architecture and Web Service development
- IBM WebSphere Message Broker, MQ and JMS experience
- Web service development experience; experience with WS-* second
generation standards
- Must have experience in architecting J2EE applications
- MDB experience
- Content management experience
- Experience with relational databases preferably Oracle;
- Solid experience in XML Technologies (XML, XSL, XSD);
- Strong Knowledge of BEA Weblogic, UNIX, Solaris, and Linux
- Ability to plan technical architecture and develop documentation;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to
clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team
player who works well with technical and non-technical resources;
- Solid knowledge of testing tools and techniques;**
- Must take initiative, be a decisive decision-maker and show confidence
in decisions made;
- Must be able to take strategic direction from executive management and
participate in strategic planning activities throughout the lifetime of the
project;
- Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant
guidance.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent
experience is desired;
- Knowledge of Portal servers, BPM Engines and business activity
monitoring
- Knowledge of rules engines preferably Fair Isaac blaze advisor
- Knowledge of National Information Exchange Methodology (NIEM)
- Experience in Teamsite content management system
- Experienced with formal SDLCs and business analysis methodologies;
Working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards;
