Please send me the resume ASAP at [email protected] Title: MVS - Technical Lead Location: Richmond, VA Expected Duration: 12 months MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATIONS Looking for an individual with an MVS background that would be responsible for the High Level technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. Provides team or technical supervision and drives project/service delivery. Performs as technical lead and designer on software development projects with responsibility for overall delivery of software components and data interfaces. Ensures all reviews happen and changes required are documented and followed up on, supports QA during testing, and has oversight during implementation into production. Provide estimates for technical solutions. Interface with PMs, BSAs, Testers, Architects and other teams to deliver solution. Review and input to Business and System. Create SDM deliverables and adhere to COF development standards. Qualification Requirements: 2+ years Technical Lead experience 5+ years of technical experience on MVS Platform The candidate must be fluent with: COBOL JCL DB2 load utilities DB2 database Stored procedures. 5+ years prior experience with design, architecture, development, and support of ETL applications and environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills Ability to provide effort estimate for technical solution Ability to create and maintain system documentation Ability to derive design from requirements Ability to lead and participate in design and code reviews Recognized by peers and customers for technical expertise Experienced at designing and tuning systems for speed and performance Strong analytical skills, with an aptitude for finding appropriate design abstractions Mainframe experience is a must.
