Senior Java Developer/Architect Location: COSTA MESA CA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)
Bill Rate Range to Harvest: $50/hr. 6 months Job Description: oWrites program code and performs testing and debugging of applications using contemporary programming languages and technologies. oEnsures the on-going operability of systems solutions in a production environment. Responds to production malfunctions and provides timely and effective solutions. oCarries out thorough unit testing; supports system and integration testing as required to provide a quality product. oDesigns, develops, and implements systems interfaces. oMonitors and refines processes, procedures, and systems to optimize system effectiveness and/or integrity and recommends/implements improvements. oDevelops and provides system documentation Skills Required: We are looking for a strong designer/developer with passion for developing highly effective and responsive user-interfaces with the following Skills: oDemonstrated experience through the full development cycle. oProven understanding of Object Oriented methodology and design patterns. o3 to 5 years of extensive experience building large desktop applications. oSolid experience in Eclipse RCP and Eclipse plug-in models and/or Swing rich client applications connecting to Java EE server applications. oStrong Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) experience. oProven experience with JBoss AS 4.2.3, Drool and Guvnor. oProven experience with Frameworks - Hibernate, Spring oExperience with Eclipse Business Intelligence & Reporting Tool (BIRT) is a plus. oExperience working with Industry standard RDBMS Database. DB2 experience is a plus. oExperience developing commercial shrink-wrap products is a plus.
