*SAS in a Winodws environment, MCP is a major plus* *The requirement as follows**:* *Title : SAS Programmer/Analyst* *Duration: 5Months* *Location: Wilmington, DE* *SAS in a Winodws environment, MCP is a major plus* *Duties and Responsibilities:*** - Must be capable of modifying or enhancing applications in accordance with business requirements in a time frame appropriate to meet the needs of a Production environment. - Document all modifications, enhancements and analysis. - Review and evaluate business specifications to determine their feasibility, the time they will require, and their compatibility with current systems and architecture standards. - Prepare definition of functional problems and makes recommendations for enhancements or modifications to deliver solutions. - Produce technical specifications and test plans/test scripts. - Identify tasks required to complete an assignment and estimate the duration of those tasks for accurate project plan reporting. - Prepare project life cycle deliverables within expected time frame as specified by the project plan. - Effectively and professionally communicate with the Corporate Actuarial Department to identify and obtain requirements for financial reporting. - Work closely with existing IT Actuarial Support staff. *Knowledge, Skills and Education Required*** - A high level of knowledge and experience with SAS programming is critical. - A certified MCP is highly desired. - Experience in development of project documentation, testing materials and execution, training materials, requirements gathering including downstream and upstream interface requirements and adhering to a project management methodology is a must. - Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications and possess the capability of producing professional-looking documentation, flowcharts, and proposals. - Basic understanding of international actuarial valuation processing and knowledge of various life insurance products is preferred. - Knowledge of basic actuarial valuation standards and processes inclusive of first principles and tabular basis methodologies is extremely helpful. - Strong analytical background is desired. - Bachelor’s degree in IT/MIS with a minimum of 5 years actual programming/analysis work is preferred. - Minimum 7 years in IT/MIS with a minimum of 5 years of analysis work will be accepted. - Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle is expected. *CONSULTANT DETAILS:* Name of the consultant: Contact number: Current location: Rate: Availability: Email address: SSN (4 digits): Visa Status: Thanks & Regards *Ben Lewis *Account Manager- *Dwlabs Inc*** _____________________________________________________________________________________ *Dwlabs Inc* | Direct: 732-231-7454 | Fax: 732-348-9590 |e mail: * [email protected]*| Website: *www.dwlabs.com|* 517 Route one South, Ste#3333, Iselin, NJ - 08830
