NSM knowledge – use of it to manage policies, preferably someone that has built an NSM server. Setup and tear down of VPNs – strong knowledge of VPN technologies across multiple vendor platforms (this helps when building with 3rd parties using other vendors equipment). Troubleshooting using command line and GUI for Netscreen firewall Documentation skills – use of Lotus Notes teamrooms, MS Sharepoint Customer interaction skills – Great people skills; stays calm under pressure; thick skin to deal with belittling and demeaning personalities of the primary customer interface.
