Needs to have experience with SQL server 2005 and 2008. 3 mos contract - might be extended. Location is midtown, Manhattan, need to be locals plz as FTF int Rate: open · Experience in database normalization; optimization and tuning; data import and export; troubleshooting; ETL using DTS / SSIS; object creation such as tables, views, user created data types, indexes, stored procedures, cursors, triggers and more. · Experience in performance tuning using various SQL Server commands and DTA (Database Tuning Advisor) · Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, client/server connectivity, and database consistency checks using DBCC Utilities. · Experience in migration of data from Excel, flat files, and others using BCP and SSIS.
