*NEED EAD OR GCS** * * * * * *JOB TITLE: APPLICATION SECURITY ANALYST*** Location: McLean, VA Rate: $50/hr RESPONSIBILITIES: § Responsible for implementing and maintaining a continuous process improvement work environment while executing application security assessments in accordance with industry standards and best practices. § Assist in performing annual application security assessments in-order to build a complete security model for each of the critical & financial applications within the Freddie Mac Infrastructure. § As part of a team, understand and execute the quarterly review of application security changes for access management recertification purposes. § Assist in identify and communicating application control deficiencies and the associated risks. § Develop action plans and/or recommend alternate solutions to resolve exceptions to standard operating procedures. § Provides security consulting and advisory services to business units and project teams. § Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external customers to formulate information security governance solutions for Freddie Mac. § Researches and maintains knowledge base regarding information security issues, solutions and potential implications for Freddie Mac. § Supports requirements gathering and design efforts of critical projects as needed. § CISSP, CISA or equivalent designation. § Minimum associates degree in Information systems or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. § Minimum 6 years of hands-on technology risk, security and/or governance experience. § Secondary mortgage market or equivalent financial services experience. § Solid understanding of information security policies, standards and industry best practices. § Demonstrated good written & communication skills. § Demonstrated good organizational skills with respect to time management and work production. § Experience using Risk Management tools is a plus.
