Please read the complete Job description and send me the appropriate resumes with 2 Manager references (American) to [email protected] * * * * Secure Access Engineer 3 months Scottsdale, AZ Rates: $55/hr on C2C “We really need people strong in BIG-IP, DNS/DHCP, Blue Coat Proxy, and Juniper, and we haven't seen anything in those areas on these resumes. *PURPOSE * The Senior Secure Access Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, support and administration of clients’s Enterprise extranet network. They will be required to work on large complex network problems that require in-depth evaluation of various factors. Helps to plan large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* - Perform work on global enterprise projects as the Secure Access technical specialist for Cisco, Juniper and CheckPoint technologies. - Acts as an internal consultant in regards to network design and design standards not only for the Secure Access team, but also within the entire Telecoms organization. - Member of the Secure Access Architecture Committee that meets to review and discuss Global Secure Access projects and emerging technologies. - Build and maintain extranet connectivity to business partners and customers with such technologies as client-based VPN, site-to-site VPN, and leased-line connectivity. - Successfully troubleshoot complex issues pertaining to firewalls, VPNs and various network technologies. - Maintains the multi-homed Internet access and controls how DHL announces its networks to the Internet using BGP. - Tests and evaluate new products and emerging technologies beneficial to DHL, including External Network Gateway and in-country VPN services. - Responds in a timely manner to project bid requests from business IT, which involve internal and external customers and partners. - Develops and implement reoccurring maintenance schedules for network technologies for which Secure Access is operationally responsible for. - Support day to day functions of DHL’s Secure Access team. *COMPETENCIES* - Expert-level working experience with Cisco devices running IOS and CATOS of all makes and models, especially 6509 switches and 7200 series routers. - High level working experience with Juniper/Netscreen firewalls ranging from SSG5s to SSG520s using ScreenOS. - Knowledgeable in using CheckPoint and PIX firewalls. - Must have used the Juniper NSM to manage multiple devices to make policy and VPN related changes. - Knowledgeable and experienced in various network technologies, services, and protocols that are typical of a large enterprise network including BGP, MPLS, OSPF, EIGRP, and QoS, - In-depth knowledge of security protocols such as IKE and IPSEC as well as how to troubleshoot their various components - Must have the ability to work with circuit providers in order to implement and maintain various types of circuits using several types of WAN technologies. - Proven experience with Enterprise business and large-scale LAN/WAN environments, network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices. - Working experience with Web Security/Proxy Devices such as Blue Coat - Excellent verbal and written communications skills including presentation facilitation - Strong implementation, requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing - Excellent analytical skills and the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions - Excellent organization skills including the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment. - Ability to express issues and communicate with various vendors and their operations personnel. * * Thanks, Kumar Talent Associate Spartan Solutions,Inc.
