Position: SAP ABAP Legacy Systems Interfaces # of Openings: 2 Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6+ months - with extensions Location: Columbia, SC Rate: Open Summary: Working under the direction of the South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS) Architecture, Design and Technology Lead, candidates will provide technical development services related to the design, development, testing and on-going maintenance of SAP Interfaces, which is currently being implementing across South Carolina State government. The major components of SAP included are finance, budgeting, materials management, supplier relationship management, human resources and payroll modules. The SCEIS Legacy Interface Developer requested under this SOW develops interfaces exchanging data between SCEIS and legacy sytems. The position requires analyzing legacy system data and formatting it into and from Standard SAP interface formats. The candidate should have a good understanding of SAP data dictionary, SAP data fields, SAP Data Elements. Candidate should also have basic understanding of the SAP Finance, Material Management and HR/PY functionality. Interfaces will use SAP XI to bring data into and from SAP, so experience with SAP XI is a plus. The candidate must be strong in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
