I need a Unix Sys Admin for client in Garland TX The project is 3-6 months (contract to hire) and starts August 17, 2009.
Ideally, I need a Sr. Sr UNIX Systems Administrator with experience building, installing and configuring servers and their operating systems, Sun Solaris and Red Hat Linux experience, Deploy and administer high availability and contingency solutions (On -site failover, clustering and replication to off-site systems), and can support applications deployments and testing, support application problem resolution. The resource must administer enterprise monitoring of server performance, availability and security, administer system backup and recovery solutions, provide administration support for IBM MQ servers that reside on Markets servers, provide hands on SAN Administration, Veritas Foundation Suite, Cluster Server and NetBackup (4.5 or higher) and have working knowledge of IBM Webshere Administration and IBM MQ Administration.
