Position: Sr. QA Tester
Location: Arlington, VA
Duration: 9-12 months
*MUST BE LOCAL TO VA/DC/MD*
*Detailed Job Description:*
- 7-10 years of relevant testing experience in a *manual
testing*environment.
- Experience in developing *test plans, test scenarios, and the
development of test cases from functional business requirements. *
- Experience in communicating effectively with both technical and
non-technical audiences.
- Experience in testing *Web-based, .Net systems*.
- Experience working in a *matrix project* environment.
- Experience working closely with developers, DBAs, System Testers and
User Acceptance Testers.
- Understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- *SQL server,* T-SQL
- Knowledge of Windows Development environments (.Net, C#, Visual
Studio).
- Knowledge of Windows Server Products (SharePoint, Content Management
Server, BizTalk), a plus.
- Understanding of waterfall and agile development methodologies.
- Proficient in MS Windows and Office application suite – including *MS
Project*.
- Must be energetic, goal oriented, innovative, hard working,
persistent, and patient.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- *Business experience in Employee Benefits and/or Healthcare*.
